Karina spent the first part of her life travelling the world as the wife of a German diplomat. Their postings took them to such diverse and exciting places as Canada, Iceland, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Greece. Her son Harald was born in London and her two daughters, Heidi and Hella were born in Reykjavik.

Karina became a fully qualified Brennan Healing Science Practitioner in 1999, having completed the four-year Professional Brennan Healing Science Programme at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) in Florida, USA. She spent a further two years on the Advanced Studies Programme at the BBSH, leaving in 2001 to focus on her healing practices.

As well as helping those with specific conditions such as depression, stress, asthma and insomnia (and many others), Karina also sees many people who are simply looking to refocus their energies or for a new direction in life.
